Being a city that recalls high expectations when it comes to high tech and being futuristic, it might surprise you that Tokyo is full of vintage. It appears that high quality goods have found their way to ‘high class’ recycling.
Go-Getter is one of the vintage shops that is situated behind flagship stores of Louis Vuitton, Dior and Chanel. You will find on trend shoes, accessoiries and clothing, sometimes adjusted by a touch of the owner. Everything is very clean and organised. It’s a pleasant shopping experience, unlike some other vintageshops that have their own chaotic way of being charming.
The way Go-Getter is styled deserves a note aswell. Quotes sticked to the walls with black tape, vintage toys, medical accessoiries… Ubercool! It’s a perfect example of how to combine the old and the new.
