We are very excited about this restaurant. Besides great dishes and supercool staff, the interior is well choosen too. During our stay in Barcelona we visited CARAVELLE twice, once for dinner and once for coffee. We were quite impressed by dinner and even more by dessert (we had the crumble, gnom gnom) We left pretty stuffed that night.
One of the employees told me the restaurant is owned by a couple from the UK, who fell in love with Barcelona when they were on a ‘caravelle’ trip. After running a bar in London the couple decided to start this restaurant in Barcelona. They bought the place in kind of a rush, but in only one week they got the place up and running! Today they run a appreciated restaurant with great staff and yummy menu. The husband is still Chef at Caravelle.
